I have worked as an Orientation leader for 2 years, and in my second year(2019) I worked as a crew cheif which came with more responsibilities. One of these responsibilities was to create content related to Orientation. The 2019 New School Orientation fell on its centenial, and this was reflected in the designs I made as I followed the centenial brand guidelines for the school.

I got to design a template for “The New Narwhal”, A platform used to share information about orientation. These are screen shots from an article written durring thre orientation week.

I also designed tickets for an event where students watched a video explaining how orientation would commence and familiarizing them with the school campus.

Lastly I created a short video to get the new students excited for orientation week. The video was a reveal of the orientations theme which was “Since 1919”. The idea was to celebrate the school’s centenial by highlighting important figures attached to the institution.
